I have seen 5 or 6 comments last 2 days of people having problems. Are you using google chrome? Someone said to try to compose feature, I haven't tried for several days so I am not sure, may just be a google chrome.
I went through it Thursday and Friday. Here's the deal... I had to switch to Google Chrome to work on the blog. It's fast... and it uploads the pictures at the speed of light. I was also told by a friend that Firefox will also work. It's a Google thing, I'm afraid. Google Chrome takes about five minutes to download and get used to, and IT IS FASTER. I'm in the country, on satellite, and it would take me an hour to post sometimes. Now it takes ten minutes, tops! (Contact me with any questions)
They seem to limit picture options to Picasa web albums (Google owns picasa, I believe) or from a phone, webcam or a web site (URL).
I upload all the pictures that I use in my blog to a unpublished directory on one of my many web domains (it's called "blog" and it's on the hex sign web site.) Since you don't have that option, I suspect, I suggest you look into Picasa.
They only allow options of using Picasa (a web image hosting protocol owned, I believe, by Google), uploading from a cell phone or web cam or from somewhere else on the web. I have a directory on my hex site domain that is not part of that web site, but holds all my blog images. I have to type in the url /blog/imageName.jpg and up they come. Since you don't have that option, I suggest you investigate Picasa.
I can! I can! My blogger is doing the same thing. If you have Picasa storage you can hop over there and upload the photos that you want to blog with there... then pop back over to your blogger page and choose insert images and then on the left menu choose "from Picasa albums" and then they will load.
Yep - Mary Ann at Calamity acres just had the same problem - I had it too but it was in the spring. You need to download google chrome - blogger won't work right without it. Once you do, it should work no problem and it doesn't take long :) Open your blog in the chrome browser and you should be able to do everything as normal.
It appears that blogger, once again, has upgraded their format. In my opinion, it only makes things more difficult for computer dummies like me. Keep playing with it, don't give up. Good luck, Julie.
I remember reading, not so long ago, Blogger was going to be incompatible with some search engines. IE might have been one. I switched to Google Chrome and haven't had any probs, so far. Not sure if that's your deal. Blogger does tend to go through stages of aggravation.
The only way I can load a pic on blogger is through google chrome. I use firefox but someone told me to try google chrome and it worked. Hopefully they will fix the problem soon.
I had the same problem, but was told to switch or download Google Chrome as my browser. Did this and it worked. I'm back able to upload photos again. You might try it.
I am having the same problem as well. Last week I was trying to upload some pictures and my computer just froze. Had to shut the whole thing down. The it got to where I can only post one picture at a time. I tried to do 2 this morning and it froze up again. I saw over on the left a list of other options like Picasa. I'll try that. I have to use Google Chrome for everything on my computer. I'm glad to see others are figuring this out as I am a complete computer dummy.
This is the story of two best friends who lived in seperate towns, managed two seperate homes with all of the bills, taxes, and house payments of each. We thought that it was silly to continue paying such high bills. We decided to look for an old farm where we each could follow our dreams. We looked for a house big enough that would allow each of us to have our seperate space, enough farm land to be able to have sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys and any other animals that caught our fancy. We needed a barn big enough to house animals and hay. Both of us love the seasons in New England and wanted to remain in the northeast. Both of us were ICU nurses and are under no delusion that we can pay our bills with farming alone. We needed to be located near a large hospital for employment. We work full time as nurses and full time as farmers. That was a lot of needs/wants to guide our search. We combed through magazines, for sale guides, and the internet. We found a place northwest of Bangor Maine that fit these needs. It was a fixer upper in the mildest of terms. This is our story, how we arrived, refinished a 160 year old farm house and are making our dreams come true. We hit bumps in the road at every turn and try to keep a positive attitude. After three years we have come to a change that can't be overlooked. After much thought Alex has decided to pursue her dream elsewhere. Now the farm rests with Ted and I. We will work together to make our dream an actuality. Please follow along with us and welcome to Mainely Ewes Farm.

Same problem on my blog - I'm trying to find out how to change it.
