Thank you to all who commented to my query. We now have Google Chrome and it seems to work.
I guess that Google didn't hear me when I said I don't like change.

I'm with you ... I do not like change either, glad you got the problem fixed.
Kelly you are singing to the choir with not liking change - I dislike it a great deal and somehow especially the online world does not seem to get that message - glad you are up and operating again - I need my critter fix now that I have only two dogs and a cat (and chickens but they hardly count)

So glad it was a simple fix! I just read another friend's blog that was having the same problem...so glad I can provide a solution for her now!
