Is it just us or does this happen to everyone? You think you are on your own and you start to make plans to go on trips, see a little bit of the world. Then, as soon as you put the deposit down, Bam! Your plans change. We were able to get a farm sitter for the week, deposit down on a cruise, dreaming of warm sunshine. Then we have two crumb snatchers with us. Not that we mind. We love these crumb snatchers. They are mighty cute.
This is Noah. He is 14 months. Back to diapers, pack and plays and bottles.
Noah is Jasmine's little brother. She spends every summer with us so she knows her way around the farm. The animals don't intimidate her at all.
Emma and Lucy are right at home with her. They love having Jasmine here. After playing all day with the girls they all "dog pile" onto the couch and pass out.
Jasmine has started school and has made many friends.
We don't know how long they will be with us. Diapers. Oh man. I'm still reeling over that one. Naps. I love naps. Noah napping and me too. Yes, naps are some of my favorite things.
The farm is in slow motion for now. The chickens are beginning to lay again. Everyone else is laying around waiting for green grass to grow.

Diapers? Diapers you say? Oy.
Wow. Diapers... I've never 'done' those. And i'll bet the farm is quiet in comparison. lol. Enjoy having your company. It sounds like fun. (I mean that in spite of the diaper thing.)
Oh, diapers..........the only thing I do not miss when my children were small. Taking a trip is hard when you have a farm.......even when you don't have delays. Keep enjoying those little ones!
Love reading your posts for over a year, the remodeling and farm raisings, now to add children you have really touched me as an ex Foster Parent and and adoptive parent it is hard to get into the swing of things when you dont have a pregnancy to prepare!
God bless y'all for doing the right thing.
Hens laying here again too. Cows are all head butting in the field-a sure sign of spring coming soon. "Crumb snatcher" is a great description. I may have to borrow that one! LOL

What sweet faces! How wonderful you will have them with you! We always laugh and say we don't know why we bother making plans as they almost never work out.Things usually happen better than we planned though.
How are things going with the grands? They must love being there with all the animals.
My goodness... I don't know how you do it all! Taking care of all the animals is a full time job, but throw diapers into the mix and you've got your hands full.
I'm pretty sure you must have an awfully big heart. :) Bless you...
I love the picture of your granddaughter and the dogs! But, OY, diapers! Well, I guess the naps are the upside, right? I bet those kids will have the time of their lives with you and you will be building wonderful memories.
